Both the Days Inn of Rincon, GA and the Holiday Inn Express in Port Wentworth, GA have stepped on board to offer guests traveling to the speedway lower rates for the event. - Fans attending the event will just need to call the hotel and ask for the "Screven Motor Speedway" rate to receive a discount on the lodging for the event.

The Days Inn of Rincon, GA is conveniently located on Highway 21 approximately 30 miles from the speedway. The Days Inn features restaurants, a Wal-Mart, and other stores within a short distance from the hotel.

Fans can ask for the "Screven Motor Speedway" rate to receive the following rates: King Size Bed for CALL NOW per night or a Two Double Beds for CALL NOW per night. This hotel is booking fast, so it is important to reserve your room as soon as possible. The rate for this hotel is available until all rooms are gone.

If you are interested in obtaining a paved parking spot for the 2nd Annual Winter Freeze Event, please send $100 per parking spot made payable to :

We will park the first long rigs on the left side, closest to the drag strip fence, first come go straight to top of pits to the LH side , w the shorter rigs going to the RH side. We do NOT save spots as they are on a 45 degree angle. Please park rear edge trailer 100% off the asphalt to make for more room for your pit work & foot traffic. Please make plans to leave rigs parked over night.

A new entry, & parking procedure is being put in place w ONE WAY TRAFFIC, ON & OFF the track in the pits & for Winter Freeze.Asphalt parked racers will use the dragstip return road to go to staging, the turn at the bottom is now paved. It will give a driver time to center his wheel, feel for any vibrations, & tighten belts before going to staging. There will be a 'hot pit ' for pit crews behind the backstretch stands( should be able to hear better also as a result) It will extend to the 1st light pole on either side. David Crews can assemble their equipment there for their races to get their driver back on the track quicker in the case of a pit stop .

Mobile Series offices will park beside the scale house.

Tire trucks and parts trucks have two options.
1. At the head of the paved pits so drivers had swing over for a tire check ( there is powerefor your trailer on the light pole there.
2. Beside the hot pit behind the backstretch (closer to track to check conditions, but possibly further away from the majority of your customers)

Campers will use the newly cleared camping area adjacent to the track w a shuttle bus to take fans back & forth to the pits & grandstands. Fans enter & park out front. All trailered race cars use rear gate. Everyone arriving in a vehicle & planning to stay overnight please bring at least one garbage bag for each night, as the crew will clean the facility each morning. Don`t worry about bringing food as we have allyou will ever want to eat here, cooked by soemof the best cooks in the SE Georgia area. Each meal can be different !

Breakfast will be served Thurs-Saturday mornings at 7 am. We hope to have an Express window for coffee & hot chocolate A New armband for each day will be required between 9 & 11 am each morning .

w ULTIMATE SERIES SUPER LATE MODELS $5,000 WIN

All arm bands from the Saturday night Nov 22 rain out will be honored
on this event.

Screven Late Models will line back up as they were
during the lap before rain(same positions).

All mini stock and road warriorswill line up as they qualified in their heats.

Any positions not filled, the driver in line will move forward.

If new cars show they will qualify for remainingstarting spots for these 3 classes.Screven will also run Ultimate Super Late Models that night / w other local classes.

Savannah River Dragway ::

All classes were paid the total $ 28,000 dollar purse/split between drivers
that made the qualifying.

Although a 2014 Ga State Champion was never
Crowned due to unforeseen rain that moved in.

April 4th we will run a new
race with box /no box and 29 tire max class(28 or 29' x10.5
no W's).purse for this race TBA,

Plus we still have Ga. State Winner Trophies
to honor.All arm bands from the rain out will be honored on this date.

Chassis Manufacturer’s Championship Cup Invitation

Screven Motor Speedway cordially invites you to participate in the 2015 Winter Freeze Chassis Manufacturer’s Championship Cup competition.

These invitations have been mailed to all Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified Chassis Builders around the country so they can contact their customer base and inform them of this event and competition.

Manufacturers should inquire as to which of their teams are going to compete in February 4, 5, 6 and 7 at Screven’s Winter Freeze V event.

From this chassis builders should designate TWO of their customers and or “House Cars” to represent them at Screven Motor Sports Complex at the Winter Freeze. Both cars will accrue cumulative points and both cars combined point totals at the end of the event will determine the Chassis Manufacturer’s Championship.

All races are open to any and all race teams and drivers not just those teams picked by chassis builders, however only the designated teams will earn points for the Chassis Manufacturer’s Championship.

Points will simply be tabulated by finishing results of the two designated teams. Tiebreaker will be highest finishing position overall and then to best qualifying position average.

Any parties interested in participating as a title, presenting or product sponsor for this event and/or the Manufacturer’s Championship Cups should contact Duane Goins via the contact information
herein. Products would be distributed to the top competitors in the 3 night chase.
